Cast is a "one dimensional" game about a fire wizard on a quest to harness the power of all of the other elements and become the first grandmaster elemental wizard. With the help of their fire powers, the wizard reveals a new perspective of the world, the shadow dimension.
The shadow dimension, cast by the light of fire, indirectly shows that there is much more than meets the eye. The wizard must use clues from both dimensions to solve puzzles themed after each element to master the powers of that element. Then, in the wizard's study, they will work to combine harnessed elements into new elements to unlock new levels and new challenges.
Do you have what it takes to pass the tests and become the first grandmaster elemental wizard, or will you perish as so many others before you have?

Added intro cutscene to explain the story and added controls tutorial.
Version 0.4
Added the wizard's study room and sprites/objects for a bunch of spells.

So I got the moving left and right, and the jumping, but...is there something else? They don't seem to do anything.
That’s all for now. This is a very early proof of concept. I’m new to game development and am still trying to figure it out. I probably won’t have very much finished by the end of the game jam. I hope you come back when I make updates and tell me what you think.
